    The Akhlaquna Award is a Qatar Foundation initiative introduced in 2017 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, to endorse the idea that knowledge and morality are intertwined, guiding together the prosperity of societies.

    Akhlaquna’s mission is to empower youth leaders and raise awareness amongst the youth in Qatar to adopt & embody universal moral values in their day to day practices including raise awareness amongst the youth in Qatar to adopt universal moral values including, but not limited to mercy, tolerance, honesty, and generosity into their daily lives and within their communities.

    The Akhlaquna Award was created to facilitate this mission. The annual award honors and celebrates one individual or a group of individuals in the community who have taken action and made extraordinary contributions toward addressing social challenges in their communities and beyond.

    Among the key factors in the success of Akhlaquna's mission is the usability and functionality of Akhlaquna's website. The website is the portal through which many of the organizations youth outreach efforts are operationalized and actualized.

    Through the website, the youth shall be able to easily create a profile and submit their application for the Akhlaquna Award while management shall be able to use the administrative functions of the website to manage the judging and rubric for each round of the winner selection process.

    This portion of the Akhlaquna Awards website is only accessible for Akhlaquna team members and administrators. This site shall run on a separate set of web servers and enforce network level security policies.

    The function of the portal is to provide the Akhlaquna team with necessary features such as:

    1. Manage the site
    2. Manage award cycle and phases
    3. Administer the application
    4. Review process and phases
    5. Create accounts
    6. Audit the public site
    7. Run management reports
