    • Karl Gretton

      CEO and CTO

      Karl Gretton, CEO, is a serial entrepreneur with success in building technology companies and organizations in Qatar and North America. His prior and current experience founding and growing several companies led him to pioneer new ways of communication outreach to online communities. He has worked with dozens of leading technology companies over his 30-year career. Karl is also the architect behind the Fuego Frameworks Content Management System.

      As a Chief Technology Officer, he drives the company strategy and oversees all aspects of innovation and technology through research and development. As a result, our clients have have been able to transform their business to meet global standards. He is permanently based in Qatar as a senior advisor to the team and Senior Software and Infrastructure Architect.

    • Mourad El Beji

      Chief Operating Officer and Senior Project Manager

      Mourad El Beji has been the COO of Fuego Digital Media since 2014, responsible for the global operations of the company. He is also a highly experienced project manager and technology strategist, with over 14 years of experience in the industry. Mourad started off his career in Tunisia as a senior computer engineer responsible for managing projects as well as designing and developing websites

      At Fuego, he started as a software developer in 2008, before moving to full project management where he has been leading projects for close to ten years. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering technology-driven business services and solutions, providing outstanding client service, and driving profitable revenue growth.

    • Manzoor Poyil

      Web Development Team Lead and Senior Web Developer

      Manzoor Poyil started his career in India, completing more than 11 years of experience in the web development industry. Before moving in to Qatar, Manzoor worked as the web development team lead at IT technologies, Infopark India, and helped the company to implement several e-commerce and CMS web solutions. He moved to Qatar in 2010 and joined Gulf Interactive, as a senior web developer where he worked with various corporate clients including ICT Qatar, Qatar Petroleum (QP), Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), etc. In January 2012, Manzoor joined Fuego as a senior web developer and later took up the role of team lead.

      He collaborates with the project manager, web developers, and other technical staff to develop a plan to define the project vision and strategy. He also manages the usage of cutting edge development technologies, to produce clean, efficient code while maintaining current web standards.

    • Hichem Boulghens

      Project Manager


      Hichem Boulghens holds a bachelor's degree in Management and has over 6 years of experience in the field. He began his career as a project manager in Algeria and later in Namibia. In April 2022, he joined Fuego as a full-time project manager. In his role, he coordinates and collaborates with clients and staff to ensure timely and well-managed project execution.

    • Mazen Khiami

      Product Development Team Lead and Full Stack Developer

      Mazen Khiami is a Full Stack Developer, with ten years of experience in design and web development industries. Mazen’s passion towards the web began soon after completing his bachelors degree in business administration and computer applications from the University of Greenwich. He started off as a graphic designer, before expanding to the role of front-end developer. His expertise and interest lie in Javascript technologies including Typescript, ES6, Angular2, Polymer Project, Vaadin Elements, while his server side skills revolve around Node.js and Mongo DB. He also has a good experience in developing hybrid mobile applications.

      His experience at Fuego is mainly focused on developing platform UIs and web applications with custom functionalities that add more value to the user experience by following the latest design-trends. Mazen continues to deliver immersive interaction-design including UI transition and animation effects tailored to fit the visual content. He has written over 40 thousand lines of code since he joined Fuego in 2013, and proceeds to learn and explore new technologies every day, working in many roles and projects.

    • Varun Victor

      Senior Web Developer and Full Stack Developer

      Varun Victor completed his bachelor degree in computer science engineering and started working as web developer in India. He has more than 8 years of experience in developing web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript. As a senior web developer, he has implemented web applications using both open source tools and frameworks. His open source expertise includes Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla for content management websites and Magento, Oscommerce & Zen-cart for e-commerce websites, and Mailchimp for building e-Newsletters. For custom web applications, he has used frameworks like Zend & CodeIgniter, which uses MVC architecture.

      Varun continues to expand his Drupal expertise by developing custom modules to add additional functionalities to content management system, integrating payment gateways, configuring Drupal to serve as backend for mobile applications and creating web services for mobile applications.

    • Munavvar Poyil

      Mobile App Developer

      Munavvar Poyil completed his bachelors degree in electronics and communication engineering from India. He became interested in mobile application development after graduating, and has more than 6 years of expertise in this area. Munavvar Fairoos, was working as the mobile application developer in Creative Thoughts Sys Tech (I) Pvt.Ltd, Bangalore India, and helped the company to implement several mobile applications. In April 2014, he moved to Qatar and joined FlexEDGE International, and in July 2016, he joined Fuego as a full time mobile app developer. Munavvar Fairoos expertise includes using ObjectiveC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular JS. Munavvar Fairoos also has very good working experience with iOS native using Xcode, Swift 4, Android native using Java, Kotlin and hybrid Mobile Applications using Apache Cordova.

    • DeyaEddin Mohammad

      Senior Backend/Java and Full Stack Developer

      With over 16+ years of experience as a Java programmer, DeyaEddin has honed his skills across every facet of the software development lifecycle, contributing to a range of notable projects. Among these projects, DeyaEddin played a pivotal role in the development of the "Akhlaquna Awards," an initiative that promotes ethical behaviour and values in the community, showcasing their commitment to creating software with a positive impact.

      DeyaEddin's expertise also shone through in his work on the "Fuego CDN- Content Delivery Network." This innovative project utilized AWS, Azure, and Fastly CDNs to automate the delivery of live digital assets among a vast number of networks, ensuring seamless and efficient distribution. DeyaEddin's contributions optimized content delivery, enhancing user experiences and reducing latency.

      Throughout their career, DeyaEddin has embraced industry trends and best practices, seamlessly integrating DevOps principles to further enhance project workflows.     • Lazeb Mouad Lahouari

      Software Developer

      Lazeb Mouad Lahouari holds a Bachelor's degree in Computing Systems, earned in Algeria. Following his graduation, he developed a keen interest in Fullstack development and has accumulated over five years of professional experience in this field. After obtaining his bachelor's degree, Lazeb pursued further education, embarking on the first year of his Master's degree program, specializing in Networks and Distributed Systems.

      Previously, Lazeb Mouad served as a Soctware Engineer at AquaDream, located in Oran, Algeria. During his tenure, he significantly contributed to the successful implementation of a numerous of software solutions for the company. In August 2022, he relocated to Qatar, where he joined Ansar Galery, and later, in July 2023, he assumed a full-time role as a Fullstack Developer at Fuego.

      Lazeb Mouad possesses a robust skill set, including proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, NodeJs, ReactJs,and Angular JS. His expertise extends to working with Android native development using Java and Kotlin. Additionally, he has hands-on experience in developing hybrid mobile applications using React Native and Softwares using Java / JavaFx.

    • Saleel Vadakkillath

      Senior Web Developer

      Saleel Vadakkillath completed his bachelors degree in computer science engineering in 2006, and has since worked as a web developer. He has more than 7 years of experience in developing web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript. He has implemented more than 50 websites using Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla for content management websites and Magento and osCommerce for e-Commerce websites. He has experience in working with frameworks like CodeIgniter, which uses MVC architecture.

    • Saif Idrees

      Software Developer

      Saif Idrees is a computer science graduate with more than 8 years of experience in web application designing and development. He is proficient in grasping new technical concepts quickly and utilizing the same in a productive manner. Saif has a good grip on Java, WebObjects and Vaadin Framework. He is capable to work in a team as well as independently. He has excellent learning and problem-solving skills.

    • Ahmed Sameh

      UX/UI Designer

      Ahmed has a Bsc in Information System from Carnegie Mellon University, Qatar, with a User-Centered Design Track. He is focused on design for user experience and application development. Ahmed thrives on achieving the harmony between functionality and user-experience. He has built a background that puts him in a unique place where he can combine both user experience design with quality front-end implementation and a deep understanding of back-end development. Ahmed key skills are, but not limited to, rapid prototyping, UX/UI Design, identity design, concept art. In addition, iOS development with swift, HTML+CSS+JS, good understanding of Object-oriented Programming, MVC frameworks.

      Mohamed believes good Design is not merely visual. It's the obligation to direct every minute aspect of your product towards presenting a simply enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Ahmed latest work is the design and development of the Rimads Qatar mobile application Stork, a new health platform that rethinks how users get their medicine & health products. In addition, he worked on other projects and clients such as Qatar Scientific Club, Vodafone, and other personal projects in fashion, movies and others.

    • Mohamed Nishad

      UI/UX Design and Senior Graphic Designer

      Specialized in designing clean, user-friendly visually appealing websites, Mobile applications, and Logos, Mohamed has over 12 years of experience in Website designing and Branding. His qualifications include a 2-year diploma course in both Graphic and Web Designing and a bachelor’s degree in arts, from the University of Calicut, India.

      Mohamed has an extended experience in the GCC of over 11 years and, Mohamed has a wide portfolio of clients and projects such as Education Above All Foundation, Qatar Genome Programme, Qatar National Convention Center, HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser website and Photo Library, Josoor Institute (SCDL), Qatar International Beauty Academy (Tajmeel), Al Shaqab, Qatar Biobank and many more prominent organizations in the region, with delivering very professional and high quality website designs.

      Mohamed key skills are, but no limited to, Website Designing, User Interface Designing, User Experience, Logo designing, Print Media, Mobile App Designing, Photography.

    • Ons Ben Slimane

      Content Development and Quality Assurance Specialist

      Content Development and Quality Assurance Specialist, Ons is highly experienced in Content Development, site map creation, Content Loading of all websites and applications Fuego developed for its clients. She is also an excellent Quality Assurance and Testing Specialist performing high quality testing on all desktop browsers and mobile devices (phones and tablets) for all websites, applications and mobile applications developed by Fuego for its clients. Ons also writes Fuego’s official training documentation shared with the client during Training sessions and after completing projects and websites.
