    Why Zoho?

    Why Zoho?

A few years ago, Fuego switched from using the Google Suite (GSuite) of products to Zoho Workplace. For those not familiar with either of these they provide the following core functionality:
    1. Email - Zoho Mail and Gmail
    2. Office Documents - Zoho Writer, Sheet and Show replacing Google Docs
    3. Online Meetings - Zoho Meeting - we were using Zoom previously but Google now finally has Google Meet
    4. Team Collaboration - Zoho Cliq - we were using Slack previously because there was no Google equivalent
    5. Online document storage and collaboration - Zoho WorkDrive replaced Google Drive
    6. Corporate Social Network / Portal - Zoho Connect - there was no Google equivalent
Fuego’s transition to Zoho from Google and the various other products we needed to use was very straightforward with automated migration tools for things like email.

Since this transition, we have become a Zoho Partner and have Zoho Certified Developers on staff. We began focusing on Zoho Creator, Zoho’s low-code/no-code platform for creating or extending the existing Zoho Apps. We have also moved onto Zoho One, which gives us access to almost every Zoho App for a single price per user per year - that’s close to 55+ apps for a single price.

Zoho One has now replaced every app or service we were previously using and paying for separately for (except for BitBucket Git, to be completely transparent).
    1. Zoho Finance modules (Books, Invoice, Expense) replaced Xero
    2. Zoho Projects and Sprints replaced JIRA
and we have implemented a wide range of modules for which we previously had less automated methods:
    1. Zoho People for Human Resources
    2. Zoho Social and Campaigns are being introduced
    3. Zoho SalesIQ for our AI ChatBot
    4. Zoho CRM, Campaigns and Social
…the list goes on and we continue to implement more modules for Fuego without any increase in our annual costs.

As a Zoho Authorised Partner, we are offering our clients the same suite of software (Zoho One) or other bundles to suit their needs including CRM Plus, Finance Plus and Marketing Automation, bringing the same full set of features at exceptional value.

Last year we began using Zoho BackStage for events that we support with our various Event Management Partners. Zoho BackStage is a fantastic Event solution offering Event Website Building, Registration (paid or free), Access Control at the Event, Location and Session level, highly scalable Streaming, Ticketing and hundreds of other features.

This blog post was created using an in-house Zoho Creator app called ‘Site Content’ which, as it’s name suggests, is our headless CMS for managing the content of our website.

Expect more posts on Zoho in our Zoho category.
